Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel & Lodges in Enniskillen has announced a £1.5 million investment in Loughview, a new luxury lakeside wedding reception venue set to open in Spring 2027.
The development marks a significant investment in the family-owned hotel’s wedding offering, creating a dedicated arrival drinks reception space where couples can welcome guests against the panoramic backdrop of Lough Erne.
Designed in partnership with renowned interior design firm Douglas Wallace, Loughview will combine contemporary architecture with the natural beauty of Fermanagh’s lakeland setting. The new space will feature full-height structural glazing, a striking glazed roof lantern, a bespoke luxury cocktail bar and landscaped outdoor gardens designed to provide an attractive setting for wedding photography and guest celebrations.
Positioned alongside the hotel’s flagship Lisgoole Suite, Loughview will create a seamless transition from the arrival reception to the wedding meal and evening entertainment. With civil ceremony facilities, including a lakeview terrace, the hotel will enable couples to celebrate every stage of their wedding day in one location.
The investment reflects Killyhevlin’s continued commitment to enhancing its facilities and delivering memorable experiences for couples choosing Fermanagh as the setting for their wedding.
David Morrison, General Manager of Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel & Lodges, said:
“We are delighted to announce our £1.5 million investment in Loughview, an exciting new addition to Killyhevlin and our wedding offering.
“Fermanagh is a beautiful place to get married, and our location on the shores of Lough Erne is at the heart of what makes celebrations here so special. Loughview has been designed to make the most of that setting, giving couples a luxurious and welcoming space to gather with family and friends, raise a glass and begin their celebrations.
“As a hotel with more than 50 years of family ownership, this investment reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation, quality and creating exceptional experiences for every couple who chooses Killyhevlin for their wedding day.”
