Chartered Accountants Support Adds Up For Children’s Hospice

Ulster’s Chartered Accountants handed over a substantial amount to a local charity this week.

Chartered Accountants Ulster Society raised a total of £15,000 at its Charity Lunch with support from event sponsor Ulster Bank. The funds raised at the event have been donated to the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice which works to support babies, children and their families through the most challenging of times.

Mark Lawther, Chairman of Chartered Accountants Ulster Society, said: “We are very pleased to lend our support to Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, whose work makes a profound difference to babies, children and families across Northern Ireland. We hope the generosity shown by our members through this fundraising effort will provide meaningful support to families across Northern Ireland.”

Ian Sheppard, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Northern Ireland Hospice, said: “We are extremely grateful to Chartered Accountants Ulster Society for choosing Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice as its charity partner for this year’s Charity Lunch. This support will enable us to continue delivering essential care, compassion and reassurance to children and their families during the most challenging times. We sincerely appreciate the generosity and commitment shown in helping us make a lasting difference.”
