Award-Winning Year Marks Latest Chapter For Selective Travel Management

Selective Travel Management is celebrating one of the most successful years in its history after securing a series of major industry awards and accolades, moving into a new Belfast headquarters and continuing to grow its client base across the UK and Ireland.

The independent Travel Management Company has received six major awards, rankings and commendations during 2026, culminating in Managing Director Keith Graham being named winner of the Outstanding Leadership & Management Award at the Business Eye Awards and the company being crowned Ireland’s Leading Travel Management Company 2026 at the World Travel Awards.

Selective Travel Management was also highly commended for Large Business of the Year at the Belfast Telegraph Business Awards and for Customer Service Excellence at the Belfast Chamber Business Awards.

On an international level, the company was named a finalist for Partner of the Year – Small TMC at the Business Travel Awards Europe, while Business Travel News Europe ranked Selective Travel Management 18th among the UK’s leading Travel Management Companies, up from 20th the previous year. The company has also entered the Top 50 European Travel Management Companies for the first time.

The recognition comes during a period of continued investment and development for the business, which has recently moved into a new head office on Great Victoria Street in Belfast.

The new headquarters provides a base for the next stage of the company’s development as Selective Travel Management continues to strengthen its position across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland and the wider European corporate travel market.

Managing Director Keith Graham said the awards reflected a wider period of progress across the company: “It has been an exceptional year for Selective Travel Management and it is fantastic to see the work being done across the business recognised in so many different ways.

“What I am particularly proud of is the breadth of that recognition. We have been recognised for customer service, leadership and overall business performance here in Northern Ireland, while also receiving major travel industry recognition at UK, Irish and European level.

“These awards ultimately come back to our people. We have an incredibly experienced team who care about the service they provide and who have continued to adapt as the needs of our clients and the wider travel industry have changed.

“At the same time, we have continued to invest in the future of the business – in our technology, our people, our client offering and now in our new Great Victoria Street headquarters. We have ambitious plans for the years ahead, but it is important to take a moment and recognise what the team has achieved.”

The company’s growth has been supported by a series of significant new business wins and retentions across the public, private, higher education and third sectors.

Selective Travel Management has continued to secure business across sectors including universities and higher education, SMEs and corporates, Government and public bodies, charities and third-sector organisations, strengthening its client portfolio across the UK and Ireland.

The company has expanded its sales and account-management function from three to five people and continues to invest in employee development through its in-house Travel Academy and learning and development programme.

Keith Graham added: “We have grown considerably over the years, but one thing we have been determined not to lose is the personal side of the business.

“Our clients can speak directly to our teams and senior management, and we combine that level of personal service with technology and infrastructure capable of supporting some of the largest and most complex travel programmes in the UK and Ireland.

“The new office, the investment we are making and the recognition we have received this year all give us a really strong platform for the next stage of Selective Travel Management’s growth.”

Selective Travel Management has been operating for more than 50 years and employs around 180 people across the UK and Ireland.
