New Belfast Leadership Experience Helps Women Move Beyond Imposter Syndrome

A new immersive experience in Northern Ireland is set to challenge the way professional women think about confidence, self-doubt, and success.

Taking place on Thursday 11 June 2026 at Edenmore Golf & Country Club, Beyond Imposter Syndrome is a half-day intensive designed to help women move past internal barriers and build grounded, sustainable confidence in both their professional and personal lives.

At a time when many women are navigating high-pressure roles, career transitions, or significant life resets, the event offers something different from traditional development workshops. Rather than focusing on surface-level mindset techniques, this experience blends clinical psychotherapy with strategic coaching to explore the deeper patterns that drive self-doubt.

Set against the calm, rolling countryside, the morning begins with a relaxed breakfast and curated networking session, allowing participants to settle into a reflective and supportive environment. From there, the programme guides attendees through a carefully structured journey first exploring the biological and psychological roots of imposter thinking, before moving into practical tools and a clear, personalised roadmap for change.

The session is co-led by Michelle Jones, a former London tech and Google partnerships professional turned ICF-accredited coach, and Emma Pringle, a highly experienced mental health nurse specialising in trauma-informed resilience and nervous system regulation. Together, they bring a unique blend of insight, combining real-world leadership experience with deep clinical expertise.

Michelle explains that the goal is not simply to help women “manage” imposter syndrome, but to move beyond it entirely. “So many high-achieving women are still held back by an internal narrative that tells them they’re not enough,” she says. “This experience is about understanding where that voice comes from, and replacing it with something far more grounded, calm and self-assured.”

Emma Pringle adds that addressing the nervous system is a critical part of the process. “Self-doubt isn’t just a mindset issue it’s often rooted in how our bodies have learned to respond to pressure and past experiences,” she says. “When women understand that, and learn how to regulate it, they can respond to challenges with far greater clarity and confidence.”

Throughout the morning, participants will explore concepts such as Transactional Analysis, the Drama Triangle, and EMDR-informed grounding techniques, before developing a focused 30-day action plan to embed change beyond the session itself.

The experience concludes with a premium networking lunch, designed to move beyond traditional business conversations and foster meaningful, high-level connections among attendees.

Beyond Imposter Syndrome is open exclusively to women and is expected to attract professionals from across Northern Ireland who are ready to invest in their personal and professional growth.

Tickets start from £125, with a limited number of early bird places available at £95 until 20 May 2026.
