County Armagh-headquartered logistics and storage company Derry Group Ireland is now B Corp™ Certified. B Corps are companies verified as meeting B Lab Standards for social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
Derry Group is now counted among businesses that are leading a global movement for an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. The milestone comes at a crucial time for the agri-food sector across Ireland, as producers face mounting pressure under the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and stringent retail compliance mandates. It also marks a significant moment for Derry Group, who are gearing up to launch a purpose-built facility in Dublin in December following major investment.
Founded in 1999, Derry Group now employs over 300 people across its current depots in Armagh, Dublin and Cork, providing a service network for the collection, order picking, storage and delivery of chilled and frozen product throughout the island of Ireland.
Derry Group’s headquarters at Carn, County Armagh, is a 100,000 sq ft carbon-neutral, solar-powered facility and a significant amount of its fleet consists of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), electric and gas powered vehicles. The business provides live emissions reports to customers for every single load moved across its network and has formally enrolled in the UK Climate Change Agreement scheme.
