Develop your future talent pipeline with an All Age Apprenticeship from Belfast Met Belfast Met is encouraging businesses to take the opportunity to develop their future talent pipeline by participating in its All Age Apprenticeship programme. The call from the College follows an announcement from the Department for the Economy that it will now fund all off-the-job training elements for an apprentice, regardless of industry sector or age.


Belfast Met is currently delivering apprenticeships to approximately 650 learners across 25 subject areas, and supports a diverse range of employers across the Greater Belfast Area and N Ireland as a whole.

As well as offering a successful way for businesses to boost long-term growth by addressing skills gaps, increasing the number of qualified employees, and building staff loyalty, Belfast Met’s All Age Apprenticeships programme also means employers benefit from increased diversity, fresh perspectives, and a stronger, more versatile workforce.

Apprentices benefit from practical on-the-job experience through their employer, while also receiving training from specialist staff from the College’s award-winning Centre for Skills and Apprenticeships.

Belfast Met’s Apprenticeship courses cover a wide range of sectors including Customer Service, Business Administration, Hospitality, Management, Financial Services, Retail, Sales, Warehousing, and Logistics.
