When this year’s nominations were announced, editor of Belfast Live, Ryan Smith said: “We’re delighted to be joining some of the media heavyweights across the UK that have been shortlisted for these awards.

“More people than ever are trusting Belfast Live for their news which is especially important in the current climate.

“We’re lucky to have such a dedicated and talented team and this is a testament to their hard work over the past 12 months.”

Mark Whyte, Brand Partnership Director at Reach, whose team worked on the commercial campaign said: “Power of Pause was an honour to work on and be part of.

“The mental health crisis in NI is well documented and given the year that 2020 turned out to be, helping to normalise conversation around mental health issues and provide wellbeing signposts was the core purpose of this campaign.

“I’d like to pay testament to our partners in Power of Pause, Electric Ireland, whose passion for making a difference in our communities is unwavering.”
