A surge in business growth, coupled with the expansion of its service offerings has resulted in the creation of 20 new jobs at Lisburn-based OKTO Technologies. The company, which also has a busy office on Buckingham Palace Road in central London, is recruiting a minimum of 20 new positions which include project engineers (IT, BMS and Electronic Security), project managers , engineering designers, software developers, electricians, estimators, and business development specialists.

OKTO specialises in the development and delivery of smart building technologies and control systems in some of the UKs highest value residential and hospitality properties.

Fast tracked due to the Coronavirus pandemic, OKTOair is capable of removing 99.98% of the Covid-19 virus within 10 minutes.

Philip Dowds, Managing Director of OKTO Technologies said:

“Our business continues to develop and expand, in line with the ever-evolving needs of society and our wide-ranging clients.

“We have earned a great reputation for our expertise, innovation, high level end-to-end contract management and uncompromising attention to detail. As such, demand for our full range of services has grown dramatically and this has created great opportunities to join our team.”

While based in Northern Ireland, the new roles offer the opportunity to travel and work on some of the projects which OKTO is currently delivering in London. These include the Peninsula Hotel and Residences on London’s Hyde Park Corner where the company’s bespoke BMS technologies are being integrated into 25 super prime apartments and penthouses.

The new roles will see OKTO’s total employment reach 85 and take the company a step closer to achieving its ambitious growth strategy which aims to generate £70m in annual turnover and treble its workforce by 2025.

Philip Dowds added: “2021 marks the start of an exceptionally busy period for OKTO. We already have a very skilled and driven team in place and we are keen to supplement this by attracting more top talent.”
