Limited time remains for business leaders to enter the Institute of Directors Northern Ireland Director of the Year Awards ahead of the 13th February closing date.   The prestigious awards, sponsored by AIB, are this year celebrating their 10th anniversary with 10 categories open to leaders across the private, public, and third sectors in Northern Ireland.

Honouring the achievements of directors representing a wide spectrum of organisations from family firms to small and medium enterprises, international companies, and beyond, winners in 2019 included Dale Farm CEO Nick Whelan and William Barnett of W&R Barnett.

All Northern Ireland category winners are then considered for the UK-wide Director of the Year Finals in London, providing the opportunity for recognition on the national stage.

Gordon Milligan, Chairman, IoD NI commented:

“As the closing date for this year’s Director of the Year Awards draws close, we have already received a high level of entries of the highest calibre across all categories.

“However, there is still time for business leaders to enter or indeed, nominate a colleague, if you have not already done so.

“With winners going on to gain national recognition, there is a huge opportunity to showcase the very best of Northern Ireland and we don’t want you to miss out.

“The awards recognise those directors who have displayed the highest standards of leadership across all sectors, and we wish all entrants the very best of luck as they seek to continue the Northern Ireland success story.”
