The winners of Northern Ireland’s inaugural Bradley Art Prize competition – a new initiative led by renowned artist Terry Bradley and sponsored by Radius Connect – have been honoured at a special exhibition in the Terry Bradley Art Gallery in Victoria Square. To mark the launch of the exhibition, the young artists alongside their family and friends were welcomed to the gallery by Terry Bradley and Stephen McQuoid, Ireland Managing Director, Radius Connect to see their work framed and proudly displayed before being presented with their awards and prize money.

The talented young artists and winners of the Bradley Art Prize, who received over 300 entries, were presented with a combined prize total worth £4,000 in cash prizes and top quality art materials for the winners and their respective schools.

This year’s worthy winners stemming from Ulster University and Friends School, Lisburn were named as Holly-Mae Greer- winner of the 19-23 category and overall winner; Niamh Mooney- runner up of the 19-23 category; Sophie Hewitt- winner of the 14-18 category and; Erin Megrath- runner up of the 14-18 category.

The Bradley Art Prize was an inspiring opportunity for these young artists to have their work on display at the launch night of Exodus – an exhibition at Titanic Belfast featuring the works of Terry Bradley, as well as a special week-long exhibition at the Terry Bradley Art Gallery in Victoria Square. The award-winning artwork is now being transported to Brussels where it will be displayed internationally at a prestigious art exhibition at the office of the NI Executive Office in Brussels.
