Parkinson’s UK has teamed up with a top-class line up of comedy stars to host an evening that is sure to tickle your funny bone. Shake With Laughter, the show that packs a punch-line, is the charity’s flagship comedy fundraiser, and it’s coming to Belfast for the first time on Tuesday 24 March to raise vital funds to improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s.
Longstanding panellist from The Blame Game, Colin Murphy, is the MC for the night alongside a stellar lineup of Irish comedy talent. Neil Delamere, currently on a home tour, will be headlining, with Emer Maguire, Andrew Ryan and Teresa Livingstone also on the bill. They are all looking forward to raising the roof whilst raising funds for the charity.
Comedian Colin Murphy has been key in rounding up his comedy friends to take part in the fundraiser:
“I’m delighted to be hosting ‘Shake With Laughter’ for Parkinson’s UK, and what a line up of amazing comedians it is!
“I got involved because my dad had Parkinson’s and I’ve seen the difference support from Parkinson’s UK can make to those living with the condition and their families.
