Mallaghan Welcomes Georgia Governor To Dungannon HQ

Global ground support equipment manufacturer, Mallaghan, has welcomed Governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, to its headquarters in Dungannon.

The visit comes as Mallaghan, which has a factory in Newnan, Georgia, announces continued investment into its American production facilities.

In addition to discussing future growth, the visit provided an opportunity for Mallaghan to showcase the important role that both its factories play in supporting customers across North America.

Speaking about the visit, Joe Griffith, Chief Commercial Officer, said:

“It was a pleasure to welcome Governor Kemp to our headquarters in Dungannon and to discuss the exciting opportunities ahead for Mallaghan in both Northern Ireland and the United States.

“Our investment in Georgia reflects our long-term commitment to the North American market and our confidence in the strength of our Newnan operation. The chance to showcase the close collaboration between our Dungannon and Newnan teams highlights how our global manufacturing footprint enables us to deliver innovative, high-quality ground support equipment to customers across the region.

“We look forward to building on our strong presence in Georgia and continuing to support future growth and job creation on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Mallaghan first entered the American market in 2012 before opening its factory in Newnan, Georgia, in 2017.

It currently employs over 100 skilled professionals in Georgia and serves as a key supplier to major airlines, airports, and service providers worldwide.

Governor Kemp added:

“Our visit to Mallaghan’s operation in Dungannon made it clear why the company has been such a valuable addition to Georgia’s manufacturing sector. From its base in Newnan, Mallaghan has created high-quality jobs, invested in local talent, and built strong relationships with customers across North America, and we look forward to their continued success here in the No. 1 state for business.”
