Belfast’s Nu Delhi Restaurant & Lounge has made history at the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards (ARTA) 2025, held at the London Hilton, Park Lane, by becoming the first restaurant from Northern Ireland to win the prestigious national Champion of Champions award.
In addition, Nu Delhi proudly retained its title as Regional Restaurant of the Year — for an incredible fourth consecutive year, reinforcing its reputation as one of the finest South Asian dining destinations in the UK.

The ARTA 2025 welcomed a guest list of the nation’s most popular Asian restaurateurs alongside MPs and celebrities as they collectively honoured the achievements of the industry. Additional guests included TV personalities, Elma Pazar, Ella Wise, Harriet Mae Blackmore, Lacey Martin, Hayley Palmer and Paige Chohan; and TV sports presenter, Seema Jaiswal. The ceremony was hosted by TV news anchor, Samantha Simmonds, and magician, Paul Martin.
