A new era for Porsche as the Cayenne goes Electric

Porsche Centre Belfast recently hosted an exclusive preview of the highly anticipated Cayenne Electric. This car was announced globally back in November, with the first customer deliveries and test drive vehicles expected summer 2026. We were lucky to have a full production vehicle on display in Porsche Centre Belfast for one night only. Customers were invited to be one of the first people to experience the car up close and personal during a night of celebration and luxury in the centre on Sydenham Road.

The car and hospitality proved popular with over 150 guests braving an inclement evening to be there for the show. Available initially at launch in Cayenne Electric and range topping Cayenne Electric Turbo variants, with more planned for future release alongside a Coupe body shape. The car’s headlines are impressive.

As a fully electric SUV with Porsche DNA and pioneering technology a staggering 850kW or 1,156 PS of power can be achieved delivering 0.62mph in 2.5 seconds, and 400kW charging power with just short of 400 miles range (398 miles WLTP). Beyond its impressive power and driving dynamics, it’s a practical and versatile everyday SUV for use on any journey.

The Cayenne Electric complements the existing Cayenne range available as full plug-in hybrid and combustion engine options. While the Cayenne Electric will appeal to anyone desiring the ultimate luxury SUV it’s also a powerful business partner supported by 100% first-year allowance and 4% BIK contribution. Gerry Mulholland Centre Principal at Porsche Centre Belfast comments “We were delighted to showcase the new Cayenne Electric in advance of its official arrival to the centre in the months ahead.

It was a pleasure to share a wonderful evening with our loyal customers giving them a glimpse to the very near future of Porsche. The Cayenne Electric is the new flagship of the Porsche brand, showcasing what is possible in ensuring the Porsche sportscar DNA is front and centre in such and exciting SUV that can be used daily. We look forward to welcoming new customers to the centre that this exceptional car will undoubtedly attract.”

The Cayenne Electric is now open to order. For more information visit www.porschebelfast.co.uk or call 02890 389 999.
