The Ireland Funds, the global philanthropic network, has honoured former Ireland and Leinster rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll at its annual Rugby Lunch 2026, which took place today at Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel.
In its 17th year, The Ireland Funds Rugby Lunch celebrates the careers of outstanding rugby players, recognising their achievements both on and off the pitch, while raising vital funds to support the work of The Ireland Funds.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in Irish rugby history, Brian O’Driscoll enjoyed a distinguished career with Ireland and Leinster, earning numerous individual accolades and playing a central role in Ireland’s success on the international stage. His leadership, longevity and impact on the game have left a legacy in Irish and world rugby.
