Translink has appointed two experienced finance business partners to support their ambitious growth plans.  Emma Wilkinson and Ashley Kelly have joined from Energia and Graham Asset Management respectively, and bring a wealth of commercial and financial experience which will be invaluable in supporting the Group’s Bus and Rail Operations divisions.


 

Ronan O’Doherty, Head of Group Finance, said, “These appointments are a key part of our strategy to provide our Bus and Rail divisions with direct access to financial expertise as we enter an exciting period of significant change, with the introduction of our new Glider service later this year and the development of our regional transport hubs”.

 

Translink has also announced its participation in the Chartered Accountants Ireland ‘Training in Business’ programme, giving graduates the opportunity to work within industry whilst gaining their Chartered Accountant qualification using a flexible study route. 

 

Niall Harkin, Chair of Chartered Accountants Ulster Society, said, “I’m delighted that Chartered Accountants Ireland and Translink are working together to help bring through a new generation of business leaders. Chartered Accountants Ireland now offers a dedicated training programme, tailored for the specific challenges of training in a business environment.  With new flexible training options, Chartered Accountancy is now more accessible than ever”.
