Local entrepreneurs Gary Irwin of textiles group Bedeck and Ashley Moore of Moore’s of Coleraine and software firm Spatialest are joining forces with two former rugby stars for a unique one-day golfing charity effort. Irwin & Moore will be joined by former Ulster star, Irish international and British Lion Stephen Ferris and Ulster 1999 European Cup medal winner turned sports agent Andy Park to take on four Royal golf courses in one day.

The challenge takes place on June 20th (when there should, in theory) be plenty of daylight and will see the fourball tackling Royal Curragh and Royal Dublin in the Dublin area before hotfooting it up North to play Royal Belfast at Craigavad followed by an evening round at Royal Portrush…..followed then by a well-earned pint.

The whole effort will be in aid of two excellent charities – Children In Crossfire and the NI Air Ambulance.

Donations can be made online at Just Giving or MyDonate by searching for ‘Golf Fundraiser’.
