A top barbershop in Lisburn has just announced an exciting rebrand and makeover to respond to the demanding requirements of the modern, fashion-conscious man. Innovative and future-looking entrepreneur Kenny Parker has now taken full ownership of the salon in Lisburn Square and has ambitious plans to open an incredible new barbers called Cut & Grind.

With a well-established track record for excellence of service and business vision, Kenny set incredibly high standards for men’s styling by opening The Bedford Barber Lounge, one of Belfast’s most luxurious barbershop in March this year.

Kenny was also the founder and creator of the well-known and successful Man Shack men’s grooming brand, which consisted of 4 barbers across the province, he recently sold three of those to concentrate on and rebrand the Lisburn salon.

“Despite the challenges of lockdown restrictions, I remain defiantly optimistic for the future, and that is why I have chosen this moment to do something different,” Kenny said.

“Even though many men are working from home and socializing has been restricted, they still want to look and feel good, whether it’s for the ubiquitous video meeting or a simple physiological boost.

“I’m bringing men’s grooming into the 21st century with a new salon that offers a 360-degree experience to my customers. I have undertaken extensive research with my clients and the wider market, and I am responding to what men want when it comes to grooming. The new Cut & Grind salon delivers levels of comfort and interaction unseen in Northern Ireland before to both impress and put clients at ease.”

After installing a state-of-the-art entertainment system, featuring a full cinema system with a 130” screen and 5.1 Dolby surround sound, Kenny will be treating his clients to cult classic movies, music concerts and live sports coverage including football, rugby and golf, while they are being pampered.

And in a move that would impress George Clooney himself, Cut and Grind clients will also be enjoying the full Nespresso coffee experience, along with a stunning selection of high-quality free refreshments.

Kenny says: “The world of men’s grooming has moved on and now clients want the full relaxing experience when they come to have their hair and beards styled. After years of working in the hairdressing industry, I know how a trip to the salon can deliver a confidence and mood-boosting experience. That is why I am making this significant financial and personal investment to create a salon that will enhance not just what’s on top of a man’s head, but also what is in it. I guarantee clients will leave Cut and Grind looking sharp and feeling amazing.”

While Kenny is focusing on delivering a memorable customer experience in his new salon, the core skills of great hairdressing certainly have not been forgotten in the rebrand.

“An amazing salon is just part of the equation of success,” he says.

“Our fantastic team of dedicated and passionate barbers remains the same, with the additional talent being added to our crew in the future. They are all extremely attentive to clients’ needs, offering professional grooming services founded on traditional techniques developed to suit the stylish modern gentleman. Our services include everything from a straight-edged razor shave to haircuts and beard trims. We also sell exclusive Cut &Grind grooming products that we carefully match to meet our clients’ needs.

“My team and I are all about pushing the boundaries of creativity and raising client expectation about how the grooming experience is delivered. We are really excited about the return of our long-standing clients and attracting new dedicated fans from all over Northern Ireland to enjoy the unique to Cut and Grind experience,” Kenny concluded.
