To mark International Women’s Week, the week-long celebration of women ahead of International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 8, Ulster Bank organised a series of seminars across Northern Ireland to celebrate the important social and economic impact of women on our communities.   Organised with customers and colleagues in mind, the series of seminars for the RBS Women’s Network NI launched today at the Ulster Bank Culmore Road branch in Derry~Londonderry where Jennifer McKeever, current President of Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and founding director of Airporter, the industry-leading passenger transport company, was the keynote speaker.


 

Speaking about personal branding to an audience of more than 40 people, Ms McKeever shared her inspiring career history with delegates, from establishing and growing a leading passenger transport company to her register of impressive accolades and awards for continued innovation and unrivalled customer service, and her focus on infrastructure, connectivity and marketing Derry-Londonderry as a must-visit city for tourism and a highly investable region for industry.

 

Events in the series also took take place in Lisburn, Newry, Omagh and Ballymena. A further two events are scheduled to take place on International Women’s Day, Thursday, March 8, in Belfast
