PwC Boosts Belfast Leadership Team With New Market Senior Partner

PwC Northern Ireland has announced the appointment of Louise Black as Market Senior Partner, responsible for steering the strategic direction of its Belfast office. 

Black will lead the 2,400-person PwC Northern Ireland office, the largest PwC office outside of London.  

A Partner in PwC’s Consulting practice within Banking and Capital Markets, Louise brings almost twenty years’ experience with the firm, becoming a Partner in 2022. Born and raised in County Antrim, she combines deep local insight with a strong track record supporting clients through transformation and growth. 

Commenting on her appointment, Louise Black said: 

“I’m incredibly proud to take on the role of Market Senior Partner for PwC Northern Ireland. There are so many opportunities for growth and innovation, and I’m excited to work with our clients and our talented people to build on that momentum. We have a strong presence locally and a brilliant team, and I’m passionate about continuing to invest in both as we support businesses to transform and succeed.” 

Louise’s appointment forms part of a wider promotion round, with 190 colleagues advancing in the Belfast office, including three new Managing Directors and seven Directors. 

Leadership appointments 

Grainne Rodgers has been promoted to Managing Director within PwC Operate where she helps clients deliver transformation and managed services at scale. With over twenty five years at the firm, she specialises in helping clients navigate complex change and has recently led the growth of PwC’s Transformation Managed Services capability. 

Tim Burns is Managing Director and founder of PwC’s Software Deployment Services business. A Chartered Accountant with more than twenty years at PwC, he focuses on accelerating software delivery for clients through AI-enabled approaches. 

Jason McBride is Managing Director of Data & AI, Tech Delivery and Service Management. With over twenty years’ experience, he supports organisations in harnessing data, adopting AI and delivering technology transformation at scale. 

The recent promotions underscore PwC’s continued investment in leadership and long-term growth. They join three existing Managing Directors and thirteen Partners, bringing the Belfast leadership team to nineteen.
