Northern Ireland-based home fragrance brand, Olivia’s Haven, has announced its expansion with the opening this week of their second Northern Irish store.
Located in the heart of the busy Belmont Road in East Belfast, the new 600ft store will showcase the brand’s entire range of candles, diffusers, wax melts and room sprays to locals and visitors to the bustling retail and dining destination, creating 5 new jobs. This adds to the 7 staff employed at the company’s HQ in Coleraine.
It is the company’s second bricks-and-mortar retail location following the success of their North Coast store which opened in Coleraine in March 2023. The range of sustainable home fragrance products is also available via the brand’s website and in luxury department stores, Brown Thomas and Arnotts.
Olivia’s Haven was founded by Olivia Burns in 2020 after she took voluntary redundancy from her role at a local medical technology company due to the pandemic. The brand was a hit during lockdown as people sought to create comfort at home using Olivia’s products. The brand has continued to generate strong sales in the ROI, UK and US markets in addition to a loyal customer base across Northern Ireland.
The Olivia’s Haven collection offers over 30 signature fragrances all inspired by Olivia’s memories and life experiences – one of the most recent additions, The Wedding, was created for her own wedding day – and products including soy wax candles, reed diffusers, room sprays and wax melts. Their products are all designed and handmade in Northern Ireland and come with eco-friendly packaging.
