Belfast based technology partner, Nitec Solutions, has been awarded a Corporate Social Responsibility Award by children’s cancer charity, Cancer Fund for Children, to mark 15 years of dedicated support.
Nitec began their relationship with Cancer Fund for Children in 2009, when they provided the charity with one year of free IT support. This quickly grew into five and across the past 15 years, the team at Nitec have facilitated the technological development of Cancer Fund for Children, assisting with technology upgrades, and supporting staff as they embrace changing technology practices to better serve the families who need them.
As well as this, Nitec have taken on a range of fundraising events, from coffee mornings to sponsored football games and have also shared their passion with their wider network, facilitating connections for the charity to help ensure no child has to face cancer alone.
Speaking on this partnership, IT & Facilities Manager at Cancer Fund for Children, Corinna Decodts said:

Cancer Fund for Children provides emotional, social and therapeutic support to children, young people and families impacted by cancer across the island of Ireland, in hospital, at home and at their therapeutic short break centre, Daisy Lodge.
