Mount Charles has proudly announced Cancer Focus Northern Ireland as its new charity partner.
Over the next year, the leading facilities management company will unite its employees and clients behind a programme of fundraising and wellbeing initiatives to support local people affected by cancer. Together, they aim to help ensure that the 1 in 2 people likely to face a cancer diagnosis in Northern Ireland have access to vital care and support at every stage of their journey.
The partnership will launch this November with the Great Mount Charles Bake Off. Staff across Mount Charles will don their aprons and compete to create the best bakes, all while raising funds for Cancer Focus NI’s life-changing services. The event promises friendly competition, plenty of creativity, and a shared commitment to supporting the charity’s mission, setting the tone for a year of impactful fundraising.

Beyond fundraising, the partnership will also focus on promoting staff wellbeing. Cancer Focus NI will work closely with Mount Charles to deliver health initiatives including stop smoking stands, care in the sun clinics, and visits from the charity’s Keeping Well Van encouraging employees to take proactive steps to reduce their cancer risk.
Cancer Focus NI recently opened its first Therapeutic Support Centre in Enniskillen, with plans for a regional network in the coming years. Partnerships with businesses such as Mount Charles are vital in turning this vision into reality.
