Mallusk Enterprise Park has supported 71 businesses trading onsite and contributed to the creation of approximately 300 new jobs, strengthening local employment and economic participation, during the past 12 months.
In parallel, 1,262 individuals were supported to upskill through workshops, training and enterprise activity, while 624 entrepreneurs received direct support. This was underpinned by 2,896 hours of one-to-one expert mentoring, helping individuals and businesses build capability, resilience, and long-term sustainability.
Mallusk Enterprise Park’s wider economic contribution is equally significant, with £24.3 million generated for the local economy, reinforcing its position as a key driver of inclusive economic growth and social impact within the borough.
Over the past year, the organisation has also strengthened its delivery team, expanding its group of experienced business mentors and advisers to enhance LEA provision across the borough. Aimee Sales has continued with the team following the completion of her placement year with Queen’s University Belfast, reflecting a commitment to nurturing emerging talent within the enterprise sector. The Park also welcomed Julie Lynch and Eugene Reid as in-house business mentors, alongside Amanda Gaffney as Receptionist, further strengthening frontline delivery and customer experience.
Looking ahead, Mallusk Enterprise Park will continue to use events, networking opportunities, and shared spaces to foster collaboration and strengthen its enterprise community. Businesses of all sizes – from early-stage start-ups to established employers – will be supported through initiatives designed to raise their profile, build meaningful connections and promote sustainable growth.
Partnership remains central to the Park’s approach. Mallusk Enterprise Park will continue working closely with Enterprise Northern Ireland and local stakeholders to deliver inclusive, high-quality LEA activity that supports skills development, employability and long-term economic resilience.
