LK Communications Appoints New Managing Director

LK Communications, part of the Ardmore Group, today announced the appointment of Kelly Maguire as its new Managing Director, marking a significant investment in the future leadership and growth of the agency.

With almost 20 years of experience developing and leading communications strategies for some of the world’s most recognised brands, Maguire brings a unique blend of international expertise and deep local market knowledge to the role.

Throughout her career, she has worked across Ireland, the UK and global markets, advising organisations including Beats by Dre, Deloitte, AWS, and several of Diageo’s flagship brands, including Johnnie Walker, Zacapa and Tanqueray.

Her experience spans FMCG and luxury brand building through integrated campaigns, as well as corporate communications, employer branding and reputation management – all delivered across diverse audiences and markets.

Maguire joins LK Communications at a pivotal moment for the agency as it continues to strengthen its position as one of Ireland’s leading communications consultancies while expanding its international ambitions.

A Global Perspective with Local Understanding

Having spent much of her career working within international agency networks and alongside some of the world’s leading marketers and communications professionals, Maguire’s experience offers clients the best of both worlds – globally informed thinking grounded in an understanding of local audiences.

Welcoming her appointment, Kelly Maguire, Managing Director of LK Communications, said:

“Over the last two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible brands and talented teams around the world. That global experience has given me access to some of the best marketers, strategists and creative thinkers in the industry. I’ve seen firsthand how world class communications can drive business growth, build reputation and create meaningful connections with audiences.

“And while I have worked internationally, I’ve also spent years delivering campaigns across the island of Ireland and the UK, giving me a deep understanding of the nuances, opportunities and challenges within these markets.

“What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to bring that experience home. It was amazing to work within global agencies, but there’s something really special about leading a business with such strong local roots, trusted relationships and a genuine connection to the market.

“LK Communications has an outstanding reputation and I’m excited to build on that foundation while helping drive the agency’s international ambition.”

Building the Next Chapter for LK Communications

As Managing Director, Maguire will lead the agency’s strategic direction, client growth and talent development, while further enhancing its capabilities across corporate, consumer and integrated communications. Maguire will also support the wider Ardmore Group with its portfolio of international brands across, particularly across the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.

Ardmore Group Chairman, John Keane, said:

“The Ardmore Group is committed to delivering growth for our clients. We do this through continued investment in the very latest technologies and vitally the very best people. Kelly is a huge addition to our team in LK and will be a wonderful addition to the wider Group capabilities.”

Nikki Larkin, Co-Founder of LK Communications added:

“I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved at LK Communications, and I’m excited to welcome Kelly Maguire as our new Managing Director. Kelly is an accomplished communications leader with a strong track record of delivering outstanding results for clients, developing high-performing teams and driving business growth.”
