The latest in a series of major global tech outages has led to both Twitter (X) and CharGPT being knocked offline.
The outage is believed to stem from technology giant Cloudflare, an internet infrastructure business that provides cyber security and networking services to a hundreds of major websites.
The latest internet blackout comes just weeks after major problems with Amazon’s internet infrastructure division, AWS, led to numberous major sites being knocked offline in what ranked as the largest outage of its kind in history.
Among those also affected by the latest outage were music streaming service Spotify, gambling site Bet365, graphic design platform Canva and multiplayer game League Of Legends.
At lunchtime today, Cloudfare issued a statement saying that it had identified the issues and was implementing a fix.
