Hinch Distillery Unveils New-Look Hinch Brasserie

Hinch Distillery has unveiled the reimagined Hinch Brasserie, introducing an elevated all-day dining experience showcasing exceptional local produce, contemporary Irish cooking and the award-winning spirits crafted on site.

Located within the distillery in the heart of County Down, the Brasserie enhances the Hinch visitor experience, giving guests another reason to explore one of Ireland’s leading independent distilleries while enjoying seasonal food, expertly crafted cocktails and warm Northern Irish hospitality.

The Brasserie is designed to encourage visitors to extend their stay, complementing the distillery’s award-winning tours, tastings and retail experience.

Hinch Brasserie is operated by local restaurateur Richard Hobson, who has created menus showcasing the very best produce from County Down and across the island of Ireland.

The menu draws inspiration from the distillery, with dishes incorporating Hinch Irish Whiskey alongside desserts and signature serves featuring Ninth Wave Irish Gin.

Guests can also enjoy an extensive drinks menu featuring Hinch’s award-winning range of Irish whiskeys, Ninth Wave Irish Gin, signature cocktails, local beers, wines and premium non-alcoholic options.

The reimagined Brasserie reflects Hinch Distillery’s continued investment in enhancing its visitor experience and strengthening its position as one of Northern Ireland’s leading food and drink tourism destinations.

Dr Terry Cross OBE, Chairman and Founder of Hinch Distillery, said:

“From the day we opened Hinch Distillery, our ambition has always been to create more than a distillery. We wanted to create a destination that celebrates the very best of County Down.

“Hinch Brasserie is an important part of that vision. It gives visitors another reason to spend time with us, enjoy exceptional local food alongside Hinch Irish Whiskey and Ninth Wave Irish Gin, while experiencing the hospitality that this part of Ireland is renowned for.

“Richard shares our commitment to quality and hospitality, and we’re delighted to welcome him and his team to Hinch. We look forward to seeing Hinch Brasserie become a destination in its own right.”

Richard Hobson, Operator of Hinch Brasserie, added:

“Our vision is to create a relaxed but premium dining experience centred around outstanding local ingredients, exceptional service and great flavour.

“Hinch Distillery provides a unique setting and the opportunity to create a menu that reflects both the quality of local produce and the character of the distillery.

“Whether guests are visiting the distillery, celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying lunch with friends, we want every visit to be memorable.”

Hinch Brasserie is open Wednesday to Friday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm, with extended opening on Saturdays from 10am until 10pm, offering evening dining, cocktails and live entertainment. A programme of seasonal events, including whiskey pairing dinners, cocktail experiences and live music, will be introduced throughout the year.

The addition of Hinch Brasserie further enhances Hinch Distillery’s visitor offering, strengthening its position as one of Ireland’s leading food and drink tourism destinations and welcoming visitors from across the UK, Ireland, Europe and North America each year.
