Healthcare Ireland Group, the fastest-growing care provider in Northern Ireland, has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Kathryn Homes. The addition of 13 care Homes to the Healthcare Ireland Group brings the organisation’s total to 38 Homes across Northern Ireland, providing a wide range of residential, nursing, and specialist care services.
Speaking on the completion of the acquisition, Healthcare Ireland Managing Director, Gilbert Yates said:

The Homes will continue to be known as Kathryn Homes for now, maintaining their local identity and community relationships, while benefiting from the wider support, investment, and infrastructure of Healthcare Ireland Group. Healthcare Ireland plan to bring the Homes into the Healthcare Ireland brand in early 2026.
This acquisition, alongside Healthcare Ireland’s existing expansion plans across key sites in Northern Ireland, demonstrates the Group’s ongoing ambition and long-term commitment to delivering quality, person-centred care throughout the region.
