Belfast law firm, Edwards & Co, is expanding its Employment Team as demand increases for specialist employment law advice and advocacy.
The company says it has seen enquiries significantly rise in the past year as more employer and employees across all sectors seek legal redress.
Edwards & Co has appointed solicitor Tara Clements to the employment team recently, bringing the number of solicitors in the team to 3. The team is supported by a Legal Executive and experienced Personal Assistant.
Edwards & Co Partner, Niall McMullan, said: “Our Employment Team has never been busier, and we see that trend continuing.
“Demand for our services cuts across all aspects of our work. We deal with unfair dismissal cases, discrimination claims, unlawful deduction of wages and employment transfer rights (TUPE). Specialist advice is provided to both employers and employees.
“We have seen a significant rise of enquiries and increase in our employment law caseload, and this is reflected in the increase in the number of employment solicitors who are required to service the demand.
The latest addition to the Employment Team, Tara Clements, said: “What we do isn’t all about being adversarial.
