Taking place on 25 February 2026 at Titanic Belfast, the conference will bring HR and people professionals together to address how businesses can tackle the biggest workplace challenges ahead and embrace opportunities to boost productivity and performance.

Leaders from other top organisations such as the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) Networks, Legal Island, Allstate Northern Ireland and Baker McKenzie will share their local workforce challenges and insight in sessions such as:

·         Harnessing AI to transform workflows, roles and talent.

·         Developing skills for the future – digital, green, and ‘human’ skills to thrive in a changing world.

·         Wellbeing and self-care – building a healthy, sustainable workforce.

An update on the Northern Ireland Exec’s Good Jobs Bill and reforms to workers’ rights will provide an opportunity to put questions directly to a panel of experts. These include Dr Lisa Wilson, Independent Expert to the Minister for Economy and Senior Economist at the Nevin Economic Research Institute, and Mark McAllister, Chief Executive of the Labour Relations Agency.

Hosted by Mark Simpson, an award-winning TV and Radio news reporter – the conference will be opened by Peter Cheese, chief executive of the CIPD, one of the most sought-after speakers on the future world of work.

Peter Cheese, chief executive of the CIPD – the professional body for HR and people development – said: “As the political, business and technology landscapes rapidly evolve, it’s more important than ever that businesses understand how to navigate future challenges and embrace opportunities – whether around AI, employment law changes, or health and wellbeing.

“We are delighted that a range of influential leaders from across Northern Ireland will join us to share their best practice and insights into how they are navigating challenges ahead by shaping the capabilities of their people. Their perspectives will help equip people professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to support their organisation and its people to thrive.”

The event will be closed by Ben Hanlin, an award-winning speaker and TV magician best known for his pranks on celebrities and the public, showcasing his ability to connect instantly with any audience.
