The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Northern Ireland has officially launched the CIPR Northern Ireland PR Awards 2026, inviting communication professionals from across Northern Ireland to showcase their best work.
To allow teams more time to finalise their submissions, organisers have extended the entry timelines. The Standard Entry Deadline is Friday 10th July 2026 at 11:59 PM, while the Final Late Fee Entries Deadline has been extended to Friday 24th July 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Widely regarded as the benchmark for excellence in public relations and strategic communications, the awards celebrate the campaigns, individuals and organisations shaping conversations and delivering measurable impact across Northern Ireland and beyond. This year’s programme introduces three new categories to reflect the evolving industry: the Long-term Client Care Award, Best Campaign (Outside Northern Ireland), and the Lifetime Contribution Award.
Paula McNulty FCIPR Chart.PR, Chair of CIPR Northern Ireland, said: “The CIPR Northern Ireland PR Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the creativity, strategic thinking and professionalism that exists across our communications industry here in Northern Ireland.
“Every year we see work that not only delivers outstanding results for clients and organisations but also demonstrates the vital role that public relations and communications play in society, business and public life.
“The introduction of new categories reflects the continued evolution of our profession. We want to recognise those who have built enduring client relationships, those whose work is making an impact internationally, and those individuals whose contribution to the industry deserves lasting recognition.
With the final deadlines extended, we want to give agencies, in-house teams and independent practitioners the best possible opportunity to put forward their finest work and get the recognition they deserve.”
The awards attract entries from across the communications industry, including consultancies, in-house teams, independent practitioners, public sector organisations, charities and not-for-profit bodies.
The awards feature a wide range of categories, including sector-specific campaigns, digital and social media, media relations, and team awards. The full list of categories and entry criteria can be found on the official website.
Winners will be announced at the CIPR Northern Ireland PR Awards 2026 ceremony on Thursday 5 November 2026 at the Titanic Hotel, Belfast.
