Clearbox Announces Launch Of New CSR Agency

Belfast-based PR, digital and social media agency Clearbox has announced the opening of Neighbourgood, a new branch of the business dedicated to corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The team behind campaigns for Oatly, Amazon and Deliveroo in the UK and Ireland has launched the new agency to help businesses deliver impactful CSR programmes.

Neighbourgood sits under the newly formed Clearbox Group as a dedicated community engagement agency that supports organisations with the strategic development of CSR campaigns.

Neighbourgood’s offerings include helping businesses connect with their local community and employees, strategy development for new and existing CSR projects, vetting the financial and reputational impact of potential charity partnerships and measuring the impact of new and existing CSR programmes. Neighbourgood is working with large and small organisations across the UK and Ireland.

Since 2015, Clearbox has worked with the community engagement teams of national brands, helping to manage relationships between the brands and local charities, schools and voluntary organisations. The team has provided these brands with support for partnership sourcing and vetting, impact tracking, project management and communications.

The launch of Neighbourgood was inspired by Clearbox employee, Alex Symington, who identified a need for an agency that delivers thoughtful, strategic planning and management of CSR campaigns. Neighbourgood ensures that CSR support is targeted, sustained and meaningful, while being part of integrated business goals and vision.

Neighbourgood aims to elevate community support beyond financial contributions and sporadic volunteering, striving for impactful partnerships that generate enduring positive impacts on communities and foster business growth.

Speaking on the new venture, Alex said: “Clearbox has been committed to driving brand success through PR, digital and social media and CSR for the past ten years. As we’ve worked closely with businesses to tell their stories, I noticed that brands have a challenge ensuring that their CSR activities are effectively managed and maintained and deliver lasting results for them and their partners.

“This is where Neighbourgood comes in, taking the stress of CSR delivery off the shoulders of marketing managers and operations directors that want to do good in the communities in which their brands operate.
