Linwoods Health Foods has been recognised in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards celebrating the company’s commitment to employee wellbeing, workplace culture and long-term staff engagement.
The Armagh based health food company has been named in the prestigious annual workplace awards, which recognise organisations across the UK that are leading the way in creating positive, people-focused working environments.
Organisations are assessed through employee feedback across key workplace engagement areas including reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, wellbeing, pride and job satisfaction.
Linwoods achieved an average employee engagement score of 84%, rated ‘Excellent’ in its WorkL report. The company also scored strongly across the six workplace engagement measures, including 87% for wellbeing, 86% for instilling pride, 85% for job satisfaction, 84% for empowerment and 81% for information sharing.
Patrick Woods, Managing Director of Linwoods said: “As a local family company, our purpose has always been to improve people’s lives through our products, but that starts with looking after the people behind the business. Our team is central to everything we do, from product quality and innovation, to the relationships we build with customers, retailers and communities.
To achieve an 84% employee engagement score and such strong results across wellbeing, pride, job satisfaction and confidence in management is a real testament to the culture our people help create every day. We are particularly proud of the loyalty within our team, with more than a third of employees having been with Linwoods for over a decade. That says a great deal about the care, commitment and shared purpose within the business.”
“We are committed to continuing investing in our people and strengthening the culture that makes Linwoods special to ensure every member of our team feels valued, heard and proud to be a part of Linwoods,” Patrick concluded.
