Belfast PR consultant Dan Quee, Director at www.birlpr.com, has been shortlisted in the Independent PR Practitioner of the Year category at the CIPR Northern Ireland 2026 Awards.
Dan established Birl PR after more than a decade working across the communications industry in Belfast, Edinburgh and London. Since becoming an independent consultant, he has built a diverse client base spanning Northern Ireland and further afield.
Through Birl PR, Dan works with businesses, charities, public-sector organisations and professional services firms, providing support across media relations, public consultations, events, social media and wider communications campaigns.
Recent work has included Engineers Week in NI, major public consultation programmes, technology and innovation, business growth, charity initiatives and major events across the island. He has also supported clients working across areas including engineering, architecture, financial services, travel, education, sustainability and major infrastructure projects.
