McColgan’s Steak & Gravy pie (190g) has been listed as a finalist in the upcoming Blas na hÉireann, Irish Food Awards. The ultimate comfort food, this classic, delicious pie, created by Strabane-based producer McColgan’s has proved a firm favourite for generations.
Established in 1940 as a tearoom in Strabane, McColgan’s has evolved to become Ireland’s largest independent supplier of savoury pastries, with its rolls, pies, quiches and slices being distributed to customers under branded and own-label lines across the UK and Ireland.
McColgan’s is focused on quality and using the best local ingredients to create a mix of products that meets modern consumer trends as well as delivering for traditional tastes, such as its Steak & Gravy pie.

The Blas Awards will be presented at a ceremony on 4th October.
