Ifac Becomes Founding Member Of Pinion Global Network

Ifac, Ireland’s leading accountancy, tax and advisory firms specialising in farming, food, agri and family business, has today become a founding member of the Pinion Global Network (PGN), a new international alliance of agriculture-focused advisory firms spanning Ireland, the United States, South Africa and Australia.

The announcement comes at a defining moment for Irish agriculture. With agrifood and farm businesses facing a convergence of challenges, from volatile commodity markets and global supply chain disruptions, to evolving EU regulation, access to world-class, sector-specific advisory expertise has never been more important.

As a shareholder member of PGN, ifac will enhance its ability to serve clients by combining its deep local knowledge of Ireland’s agri economy with access to a global network of expertise, resources, and innovation. This partnership enables ifac to deliver expanded advisory capabilities, collaborate with international specialists, access shared research and tools, and provide globally informed strategies to clients.

John Donoghue, CEO at ifac, commented:

“Being a founding member of the Pinion Global Network is a natural next step for ifac as we continue to evolve how we support our clients. Irish farming and agribusiness are increasingly shaped by global forces, whether that’s commodity prices, climate policy, or trade agreements. PGN will give our advisors access to leading global advisory expertise, while maintaining the trusted, local relationships that define ifac. For our clients, that translates into better-informed decisions, stronger commercial outcomes, and advisory that genuinely keeps pace with how agriculture is changing on a global level.”

By becoming a founding member of the network, ifac gains access to a collaborative model designed to solve complex client challenges by connecting firms with complementary expertise across regions.

Jeanne Bernick, Executive Director at Pinion Global Network, commented:

Ifac is a highly respected leader in Ireland’s agri and food sectors, and their expertise strengthens our global network. Ireland has one of the most export-oriented agri-food sectors in the world, and ifac sits at the heart of it. Bringing their depth of knowledge into the Pinion Global network gives our member firms genuine insight into how Irish and European agriculture operates, and that benefits clients well beyond Ireland.”

The partnership builds on a track record of collaboration already underway between ifac and Pinion, including joint client engagements on ESG and sustainability reporting, shared thought leadership and joint client-facing webinars on global trade and tariff issues affecting Irish food businesses.
