This year’s awards will feature 17 diverse categories, including the Fintech Innovator Award, Compliance & Reg Tech Award, Innovative Banking Product Award, and the highly anticipated Payments Innovation Award, among others. The event will also highlight new categories introduced this year, including Transformation in Finance Award and Fintech Team of the Year, reflecting the dynamic landscape of the financial sector.
This year’s FS Awards welcomes an impressive lineup of first-time finalists, highlighting their exceptional contributions across multiple categories. ALT21 has garnered attention with nominations in four prestigious categories: the FS Challenger Award, FS Trust Award, International Finance Award, and Sustainable Finance Award. Close Brothers Motor Finance is recognised for its excellence with nominations in both the FS Trust Award and Specialist Lender Award. Additionally, Quantmatix Limited has earned recognition in the Fund Management Company of the Year andInternational Finance Award categories. These trailblazing companies exemplify the innovation and leadership propelling the financial services sector forward with multiple category finalist nominations.
The late John Bruton, former Taoiseach, will be honoured with the Pádraig Ó hUiginn Award for Outstanding Contribution to Financial Services. This distinguished award, named in recognition of the late Pádraig Ó hUiginn’s lasting legacy in the financial sector, celebrates individuals who have made a significant and sustained impact on the industry. John Bruton’s influence and contributions to the sector earned him this special recognition, solidifying his place as a key figure in the advancement of financial services in Ireland.
