Marks & Spencer has announced it will recruit more than 450 new staff to support its store teams across Northern Ireland this festive season.
The new colleagues will support store teams during the busiest weeks of the year, helping M&S deliver brilliant service and high standards for customers. The roles are fast-moving and hands-on, with colleagues working together to make sure customers get the very best of M&S at its busiest.
Applications are now open, with the first new colleagues joining M&S from 25 October. The roles will pay £13.41 per hour, with successful applicants receiving the training, tools and support needed to get up to speed quickly.
Christmas is one of the biggest moments of the year for M&S, with millions of customers trusting the retailer to help make it special, from the food on the dinner table to gifts and fashion. Seasonal colleagues play a vital part in helping store teams deliver for customers at this busy time.
Laura Harper, M&S Stores Director – Ireland and Northern Ireland, said: “Our brilliant store colleagues are at the heart of M&S and play such an important role in delivering the magic of Christmas for customers and communities right across Northern Ireland. We’re delighted to be creating more than 450 opportunities in our stores this year and welcoming new colleagues into our teams.
“Christmas is one of the busiest and most exciting times to join M&S, and these roles are a great opportunity to be part of teams serving communities across Northern Ireland. We’ll give new colleagues all the training, tools and support they need to get up to speed quickly. What matters most is bringing energy, enthusiasm and a real commitment to doing the right thing for our customers and working as part of the team.”
