Irish entrepreneur and international high-performance mentor Kim Calvert is bringing her flagship event to Dublin this September as she celebrates ten years of building Dynamite Lifestyle from a start-up into an eight-figure international business.
Inception 2026 – A Decade of Dynamite will take place at The Round Room at Dublin’s Mansion House on 11 and 12 September, bringing together entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals from across the world for two days focused on leadership, mindset, human performance and growth.
The milestone marks an extraordinary decade for Calvert, whose career began as a psychiatric nurse earning around £35,000 a year.
After discovering the work of Bob Proctor, the internationally renowned personal development teacher and star of global phenomenon The Secret, Kim made the decision to invest in herself and ultimately went on to work alongside him for seven years.
During that time, Kim achieved Executive Diamond level and received more than 25 awards for business, leadership and sales excellence. Proctor himself described Kim as “one of the most effective people I have ever worked with.”
Today, Kim, who lives in Northern Ireland, is CEO of Dynamite Lifestyle, an international speaker and high-performance mentor working with entrepreneurs and business owners around the world.
Kim said: “When I look back at the woman I was ten years ago and compare her to the life and business I have today, it almost feels like two different people.
“I didn’t suddenly become more intelligent or capable. I changed the way I thought, the way I saw myself and what I believed was possible.
“Working alongside Bob for seven years was an extraordinary privilege and taught me so much about the mind, human potential and why some people consistently create extraordinary results while others remain stuck.”
Kim’s clients have reported significant business results. Jennifer King achieved £50,000 profit in a single quarter for the first time; Joe Dunlop achieved £56,000 in monthly sales just three weeks into mentorship against an original £30,000 target; while Louise Keenan Clarke increased her income by 179% in Q4 while working fewer hours.
Kim believes one of the biggest misconceptions about high performance is that achieving more simply means working harder.
She said: “Most successful people don’t have a knowledge problem. We often already know what we should be doing.
“The interesting question is: if we already know what to do, why aren’t we doing it?
“That’s where understanding the mind becomes incredibly powerful. Our results are influenced by our beliefs, habits, behaviours and what we ultimately believe is possible for ourselves.”
Kim chose The Round Room at Dublin’s Mansion House to host the tenth anniversary event, which has been designed as an immersive and interactive experience rather than a traditional business conference.
Inception will explore the psychology behind performance and results, including limiting beliefs, decision-making, goal setting, leadership and the behaviours that can prevent people and businesses from reaching their potential.
Kim added: “There is an incredible entrepreneurial energy in Ireland and I wanted Inception to bring together ambitious people who are building businesses, leading teams and asking themselves, ‘What am I actually capable of?’
“Inception celebrates the past ten years, but for me it’s really about the next ten. If my journey proves anything, it’s that where you are today does not have to determine where you will be ten years from now.”
