Expleo, the global technology, engineering and consulting service provider, has appointed Alan Gallagher as Commercial Director of Life Sciences. Bringing over a decade of industry experience to his role, Alan will oversee and lead Expleo’s market strategy for companies in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
Leveraging his deep expertise and Expleo’s global reputation as an industry disruptor, Alan will be responsible for identifying target segments, attracting new customers and driving revenue growth for the company.
Through his role, Alan will promote Expleo’s cutting-edge technology and best practice approach to private sector organisations across Ireland, helping them to accelerate innovation and drive digital transformation across their operations. He will work closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique challenges, from market intelligence to enhancing manufacturing efficiency, ensuring measurable results and lasting value.
Alan brings a wealth of expertise to his role, having worked as the Director of Business Development for Catalyx. Prior to this, he served as Sales Manager for TQS Integration Ltd. and later, Cognizant, following its acquisition of TQS.
Alan is actively involved in industry networks, including the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Ireland affiliate and, through Expleo, Biopharma Chem Ireland. Alan also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Cork.
