Ireland’s first indoor Ninja Master Course has officially opened its doors to the public, representing the completion of a major £1 million investment from Belfast-based adventure company, We Are Vertigo.   The Ninja Master Course, which has created 10 new jobs, will further enhance the high-adrenaline offering available at We Are Vertigo’s Titanic Quarter facility, which also includes Ireland’s first Indoor Skydiving centre.

Inspired by the hit TV show, Ninja Warrior, this bespoke 110ft long assault course will push thrill-seekers to their limits, encouraging them to overcome a series of physically challenging obstacles as part of the race to sound the klaxon and claim their title a true bone fide Ninja Master.

Belfast-based parkour instructor, Paul Allen, who was a finalist in the TV first series of Ninja Warrior UK was one of the first people to try out the athletically-challenging course at the facility at its grand opening, alongside Q Radio presenter, Ibe Sesay, who also featured on the hit TV show.

Speaking at the launch, Paul Allen said: “It’s fantastic to see a facility like this open in Belfast. The course is demanding and not for the faint-hearted.”

The highly-anticipated new facility follows We Are Vertigo’s extensive redevelopment of their Newtownbreda adventure centre in south Belfast, where a state-of-the-art, 30,000 sq ft Inflata Park opened just last week.

Commenting on the completion of the major £1million investment, Gareth Murphy, managing director, We Are Vertigo, said: “It’s been an incredibly busy start to the year but we are thrilled to unveil the Ninja Master Course to our customers, just a week after we opened our new Inflata-Park.

“As a leisure company, encouraging people of all ages to get active is at the heart of our business strategy. In this day and age, we’re all guilty of spending too much time staring at screens; from work computers to our smartphones, and these habits are being passed on to younger generations. We have developed an extensive leisure offering, with the aim of encouraging people to partake in fun, physical activity, that will appeal to all ages, so the entire family can get involved and get active together.”

The Ninja Master Course is suitable for anyone aged 6 years old and up, with entry fees starting at £15. Booking is open now at www.wearevertigo.com
