Showcase for Homegrown Products

Everything's Fine....With Friends

Local artist Kathryn Callaghan and bespoke interior design studio Atelier-Design teamed up to showcase some of Northern Ireland’s finest homegrown products and designers. The event highlighted pioneers from the worlds of fashion, art, design, music, food and drink, all of whom are based here.

Among those who exhibited their works and products were Gráinne Maher Millinery, abigail*ryan, French Vintage Vie and Ruth Corry Harpist. Guests were treated to samples of NI-produced cocktails from RubyBlue and canapés courtesy of Posh Nosh, as well as a tour of Atelier’s elegant show rooms which included Kathryn Callaghan paintings and Gráinne Maher pieces for the special evening.

Speaking at the event Kathryn Callaghan said: “Northern Ireland has some of the best artisan producers in the world. Our designers, distillers, artists and chefs can compete with any others in the global market and we felt it was important to showcase their excellence. We often look to Paris for the finest art, Milan for the latest fashion or Moscow for the best vodka - forgetting that we have some of the finest produced right here in Northern Ireland.

It was a pleasure to showcase not only my own work, but also that of other local artists, designers and producers who have so many exciting products to show off.”

James Fairley from Atelier Design added: “We are delighted to have brought this event together with Kathryn and all our local producers. We firmly believe in supporting local designers and artists and stock a wide range of products from local talent here in our Interior Design Showroom and Studio at No. 7 Wellington Place Belfast, including abigail*ryan homewares. We continue to promote NI designers and artists and look forward to welcoming more to our showrooms in the future with our art@atelierevents which have been showcasing the finest local talent from the fields of art & design for almost two years now.”

Kathryn’s current exhibition at Atelier Design is on display until 29th August. Details of the Northern Ireland businesses, artists and designers who took part in the evening can be found at
