Top Northern Ireland financial planning and wealth management firm, Navigator Financial Planning Ltd, has been placed first in Scotland and Northern Ireland in an award for the best financial planning businesses in the UK.
This is the first time the award has come to Northern Ireland.
According to Citywire, the award’s organisers, Navigator Financial Planning scored highly in all areas assessed. They were credited with particular excellence in qualifications, since Navigator was one of the inaugural Accredited Financial Planning Firmstm when the designation was launched in 2011, and all its advisers are Certified Financial Plannerscm. Client communication was another key factor, because of their programme of regular client reviews, blogs, and use of social media.
David Crozier, Managing Director at Navigator Financial Planning said, “We are thrilled to have been awarded this accolade. This is particularly so, given that a number of firms whom we would regard as absolutely top-notch were on the short-list, and indeed were previous winners of the award.
“We feel very well rewarded for putting the effort in to make sure that our clients are getting a service that they tell us is excellent, including the best financial planning and a top quality investment experience. It is of primary importance to us that we get these things right for our clients, but it's also nice to be recognised for it within our own profession."
Navigator says that they are not only independent, but impartial, and that its advisers are under no incentive to sell a financial product a client might not need, because they charge a professional fee for advice, in the same way as an accountant or solicitor.
The firm has two specialisms: advising entrepreneurs and owner-managers of small and medium-sized businesses; and helping clients and families who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries or medical negligence to get their lives back.
