John will entertain the crowd at an intimate black tie gala event in May 2012 at the iconic Titanic Building. The event is being organised as part of the Drinks Inc 10th Anniversary celebrations and will take place in May 2012.
Commenting, Paul Camplisson – Managing Director of Drinks Inc – said: “We are absolutely delighted and very grateful that John has agreed to provide his services in support of our charity fund-raising efforts. Drinks Inc has enjoyed great success over the past 10 years and we wanted to give something back. John’s involvement will be a massive boost to the amount we can raise from this event for our chosen good causes.”
Since bursting onto the comedy scene just a few years ago, John Bishop has rapidly become one of the biggest names in stand-up with his second DVD just released and frequent appearances on TV, including his own show – John Bishop’s Britain - on BBC1 prime time. His Sunshine Tour this year played to over 400,000 people including two sell-out performances at the Odyssey Arena in June. He recently announced Arena tour dates for 2012 but eager fans here will have to wait until November for the Belfast gigs.
This means the Drinks Inc gala event will be one of the hottest and most exclusive tickets of the year.
More details of this exciting night of entertainment and fund-raising will be revealed in the coming months and updated on the Drinks Inc website www.drinksinc.com
