Faced with the challenges of an ever-changing labour market, a skills deficit, and a lack of industry appeal, a new Invest NI supported initiative – Harvesting Tomorrow’s Skills – is helping NI’s food and drink industry challenge perceptions and attract new talent to the sector. HTS recently brought together top experts in people development, recruitment and social media marketing for a ‘PR of HR’ seminar which was attended by over 100 HR directors and senior business leaders.

Harry Hamilton, Project Facilitator of HTS said: “There are currently 800 job vacancies in the sector – and that number is likely to keep growing. Through this seminars, workshops and wider training, our aim is to support NI’s food and drink businesses and helpin them sell the sector and the many opportunities it presents.”
