Porsche Centre Belfast recently celebrated its move to a new state of the art showroom in the Titanic Quarter of the city. At 2,600 square metres, the new showroom is more than double the size of the previous location, and features space to display sixteen cars and house two dedicated vehicle hand-over bays.

Customers can enjoy a variety of new facilities and improved services, including a Specification Lounge designed to support detailed consideration of features and benefits of individual cars, and a hospitality area serving fresh coffee and refreshments.

Considering its new location in the historic Titanic Quarter, the Porsche Centre is more than a point of sale – its prime position means it is effectively a window into the world of the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer, a marque that has fascinated car enthusiasts for 70 years since 1948.  And just as Porsche cars embody long-held principles of intelligent performance, so too the new building incorporates cutting edge architectural design and energy efficiency measures.

“We consistently strive to deliver excellent customer service that reflects the exceptional standard of quality that is associated with Porsche,” explained Carl Russell, Centre Principal.

“Externally, the showroom has significant customer parking and used car display facilities for forty Porsche Approved pre-owned models, and seven E-Hybrid charging points.  The servicing facilities include a seven bay workshop staffed by seven technicians, two of whom have Gold Standard accreditation.  The twenty-five strong team is fully Porsche-trained and focussed on delivering the full Porsche experience.”

Yuile Magee, Group Managing Director, The Agnew Group commented; “The opening of the new Porsche Centre is a reflection not only of the success of the Porsche brand, but also of our strength and presence in the local car market. The Agnew Group is synonymous with premium brands and excellent customer service, and this new showroom is a natural progression for us, as we develop our business going forward.”

“Just a glance at our current model range clearly shows this is a very exciting time for everyone associated with Porsche,” he added. “With further innovative sports cars in the pipeline, along with growing interest in Classic Porsche cars, we are confident that this new Centre will help grow our customer experience as well as continue the business growth of Porsche Centre Belfast and ourselves.”

The official Centre opening on 9 March was heralded by the unveiling of the new Porsche Cayenne, and Alexander Pollich, Managing Director, Porsche Cars GB, was on hand to speak to an audience of approximately 500 guests.

“I must compliment the team at Porsche Centre Belfast for such a seamless transition to its new Centre,” commented Mr Pollich. “This development is a great example of the investment by our partners in the Porsche network. And the location in the Titanic Quarter is simply stunning, and a great backdrop to the first UK and Ireland preview of our new Cayenne.”

The Porsche Cayenne is the sports car among sports utility vehicles, and the new, third generation of the successful all-wheel drive four door sports car is a completely new development, combining typical Porsche performance with everyday versatility.

Powerful turbocharged engines, a new eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic gearbox, new chassis systems and an innovative display and control concept with total connectivity combine to raise sport and comfort to a new level.
