Nespresso Professional hosted an exclusive dinner in the Michelin awarded Deane’s Eipic Restaurant last Tuesday evening for Northern Ireland’s brightest culinary stars. The evening was a celebration of quality coffee and haute cuisine with an exquisite menu created by Chef Alex Greene.


 

Northern Ireland’s most renowned chefs and members of the culinary community joined Nespresso Commercial Manager Jean Baptiste Coutant for the occasion, including TV Chef Gary O’Hanlon, from TV3’s ‘The Restaurant’, Chef Danni Barry from Clenaghan’s Restaurant, and Tony and Andrea O’Neil from Coppi and Buba Restaurants. 

Guests were welcomed to a Nespresso cocktail created by Eipic mixologist Marco Cenacchi before sitting for the seven course tasting menu. The highlight of the menu was a smoked Sirloin tartare dish presented on a plate covered by a glass dome. When the dome was removed, a Nespresso Origin India infused mist escaped revealing Sirloin tartare for a dish that was pure food theatre. Nespresso Coffee Expert Abigail Leslie paired the luxurious chocolate ganache dessert with a Nespresso Espresso Origin Brazil to conclude the evening’s dining experience. 

Jean Baptiste Coutant spoke about the Nespresso commitment to producing a sustainable cup of coffee and played the latest Nespresso ad featuring Nespresso farmer Humberto Galeano Sanchez and narrated by George Clooney

On departure guests were gifted the latest Nespresso Michelin Guide which features twenty eight Northern Irish Michelin Star and Bib Gourmand awarded restaurants, the latest edition of N Magazine and a box of luxurious Nespresso Chocolates.
