The Belfast-based company is responsible for the daily operations of the Flybe Training Academy, which includes event management and hospitality, as well as for cleaning and onsite technical services.
Mount Charles has opened two new food and beverage outlets for Flybe at both its New Walker Hangar headquarters as well as The Sky Café at the airline’s Training Academy.
Vincent Hodder, Flybe’s Chief Strategy Officer, commented: “We are pleased to welcome Mount Charles on board to manage the conference facilities at our Training Academy. The new cafeteria services have been particularly well received by all who have visited them to date. Both the new ‘Sky Café’ and ‘Hub at the Hangar’ areas have created the much-needed informal meeting and contemporary eating space for staff and visitors alike offering high quality, healthy food prepared freshly on site.”
Mount Charles now works with over 400 customers across the UK and Ireland and this latest contract win comes after the 2018 Deloitte Best Managed Company announced several contract gains totaling £8m in the Republic of Ireland, as well as a franchise agreement with Ireland’s leading and original healthy fast food retailer Freshly Chopped.
