Based in the prominent Cornmarket area of Belfast City Centre, Mills Selig has grown their legal team ten-fold since it first opened for business in 1959. Earlier this year, the local law firm shared their intention of creating future jobs with the expansion of the firm, and indeed have recently recruited six new solicitors and four new trainee solicitors.

Solicitor Lauren Shaw recently re-joined the Mills Selig Property team firm having spent several years away in Oxford. Having returned to Northern Ireland the decision to re-join Mills Selig was an easy one given the friendships and the high quality of work and client base that the firm boasts.
Joining Lauren in the Property team are solicitors Robyn Butler and Michael Young The property team, led by Director Anne Skeggs, has now increased to 10 individual lawyers, with experience in both residential and commercial law.
Newly qualified solicitor Emma McCloskey has become a permanent member of the Corporate team having completed her training contact with the firm and is joined by another new recruit, solicitor Jenna Watt. As a leading corporate and commercial law firm and under the guidance of Director Chris Guy, the newly appointed solicitors have immediately stepped into high profile and complex deals, including the recent sale of Novosco.
Rebecca Logan joins the Litigation department which manages a wide range of commercial disputes. The department is headed up by Director, Emma Hunt who recently listed by Chamber and Partners as a leading individual in Litigation and Real Estate Litigation.
Trainee solicitors Kathryn O’Hagan, Conor Mulligan, Mairi-Claire Power and Ryan Leonard will complete a two-year dedicated programme where there will be given front line experience across all 17 areas of law covered by Mills Selig.
