Northern Ireland’s premier private healthcare group, Kingsbridge is very pleased to reveal that they have raised an amazing £5707.30 for local charity, Northern Ireland Hospice through their festive ‘Elf Isolation’ fundraiser.

The money will make a big difference to the charity providing respite, comfort, and specialist care for 10 days and nights for those in the Northern Ireland Hospice inpatient unit.

Mark Regan, CEO at Kingsbridge Private Hospitals said he was delighted that their rapid drive -through Covid testing service along with donations from staff and patients generated so much money for a cause that was close to the Group’s heart.

“We wanted to do something to pay tribute to a much loved and missed former colleague and mentor, Carol O’Malley. She not only adored Christmas but was a real advocate for the Northern Ireland Hospice where she played a key role for many years and was cared for, so well in the final few months of her illness.

“I would like to thank everyone who put their weight behind the campaign as well as the staff on the ground in the IPU at the Hospice. who work tirelessly to support those in their holistic approach to palliative care.”
